Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a high-level coordination meeting with government officials ahead of his upcoming visit to Azerbaijan.
Report informs via Iranian media that the meeting brought together ministers, the head of the Central Bank, President Pezeshkian’s political advisors, and governors of provinces bordering Azerbaijan.
During the session, a report on the current state and recent developments in bilateral relations was reviewed. Discussions focused on expanding cooperation in trade, energy, transport, and tourism.
Pezeshkian highlighted the deep cultural and historical ties between Iran and Azerbaijan, emphasizing the strong potential for further cooperation.
He also stressed that strengthening collaboration between the two governments, the private sector, and the people would contribute to the economic growth of both nations.
