Peskov: Moscow unaware of Yerevan’s decisions to withdraw Russian border guards from Zvartnots

Russia is not aware of any decisions made regarding the withdrawal of Russian border guards from Yerevan Zvartnots airport; work is underway in all directions, Russian Presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs.

“As for the border guards from Zvartnots, as far as we understand, there were no decisions on this matter. No one brought these decisions to us through official channels, we are working in all directions within both the CIS structures and the EAEU structures, and at the level of bilateral relations,” Peskov noted.

Earlier, the deputies of the ruling parliamentary faction of Armenia “Civil Contract” discussed the issue of the withdrawal of Russian border guards from Zvartnots airport.
