Russia is aware of Azerbaijan’s position on Ukraine, and Moscow and Baku have differing opinions on the matter, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs via Russian media.
At the same time, the Kremlin hopes that these disagreements regarding Ukraine will not hinder efforts to overcome the cooling period in relations with Baku, Peskov noted.
"At the same time, these disagreements have not been an obstacle, and we hope they will not become one, to moving past what we hope is a brief period of cooling in our bilateral relations, and to ensuring that we do not sacrifice our mutual and mutually beneficial interests for the sake of a momentary situation," he said.
