Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has stated that the exchange of responses to the memorandums submitted by Russia and Ukraine will require the continuation of direct negotiations between the two sides.
Report informs via Russian media that Peskov said moving forward with this diplomatic process hinges on the resumption of talks.
"Naturally, depending on how the situation evolves, the conversation should ideally shift toward continuing negotiations and organizing the next round of talks. At this moment, there is no concrete understanding of when that might happen," Peskov said.
He also reaffirmed Russia's readiness to implement agreements concerning the return of the bodies of deceased Ukrainian soldiers and the exchange of prisoners of war.
