Peskov comments on possibility of compromises on Ukraine memorandum

The possibility of compromises on the part of Russia on individual points of its memorandum on the Ukrainian settlement should be determined during the talks, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs via TASS.

According to Peskov, the negotiation process should not be public. "This is a topic for a negotiation process that cannot be carried out publicly."

Commenting on the meetings of the delegations of the Russian Federation and Ukraine held yesterday in Istanbul, Peskov said that it would be wrong to expect breakthroughs in the negotiations. At the same time, he noted that important agreements had been reached.

"Certain agreements were reached in Istanbul, they are important. Indeed, first and foremost are people. These agreements will be implemented," Psekov said.
