Pashinyan: Armenia needs new constitution

In his address on the occasion of Constitution Day, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the country needs a new constitution, Report informs, citing local press.
“The current constitution creates serious socio-psychological tension among citizens. Due to known circumstances, Armenian citizens today view the current constitution as a document created and implemented by the ruling elite,” the Prime Minister said.
Pashinyan noted that the main problem is not only what is written in the constitution but also how it is perceived.
