Armenia has sent Azerbaijan a proposal to resume railway communication, which was suspended in the early 90s after the start of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with Armenpress, Report informs.
"According to our assessment, we have found a solution to resume railway communication that would be fully acceptable to both Armenia and Azerbaijan. We have sent this proposed solution in writing to Azerbaijan and are waiting for their positive response. When this response is received, it will be necessary to quickly sign an agreement and begin railway construction," Pashinyan noted.
