Participation of observers from Turkic countries in elections in Turkmenistan discussed

Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, and Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States Baghdad Amreev discussed the prospects for developing bilateral cooperation online.

Report informs that the Turkmen foreign minister stressed the need to further expand cooperation between the organization's countries in various fields.

He also noted that Turkmenistan is interested in its partnership with several international structures affiliated with the Organization of Turkic States.

The diplomats paid particular attention to the issues of interaction in sending the mission of observers of the Organization of Turkic States to monitor the preparation and conduction of the presidential elections in Turkmenistan, which will be held on March 12 this year.
