The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, believes that the radical opposition's strong reaction to the ban on foreign funding of TV channels indicates their benefit from this process, Report informs.
Papuashvili emphasized the importance of investigating this issue:
"So far, it has not been publicly stated anywhere that the party propaganda tools of Gvaramia, Khazaradze, and Kezerashvili were funded by foreign governments.
Therefore, it is important to clarify this issue. If this fact is confirmed, it will be another proof of illegal foreign interference in the parliamentary elections in Georgia," he said on social media.
