Papoyan: I will do everything to ensure opening of Armenian-Turkish border

Armenia"s Minister of Economy, Gevork Papoyan, has stated that he will make every effort to open the Armenian-Turkish border.
According to Report, citing Armenian media, he made the remarks at a parliamentary commission meeting on regional and Eurasian integration.
"I will do everything to open the Armenian-Turkish border and develop the Armenian economy," Papoyan said.
He noted that Türkiye and Azerbaijan have resolved the issues that previously led them to close their borders with Armenia.
Negotiations between Armenia and Türkiye on the border opening continue, while discussions with Azerbaijan focus on opening regional communications.
