Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to arrive in Tajikistan on July 2 for a two-day official visit. This marks Sharif's first foreign trip since his re-election as Prime Minister in March 2024.
According to Report, which cites Sputnik-Tajikistan, the visit comes at the invitation of Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon.
The Pakistani Prime Minister's political journey has been remarkable. After leading the government from April 2022 to August 2023, Sharif was re-elected in March 2024 with overwhelming support, securing over 200 votes from parliamentarians.
