A note has been sent to the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs following an incident when paint cans were thrown at the Russian Embassy in Stockholm, according to the diplomatic mission's statement, Report informs via TASS.
The statement revealed that on the morning of April 15, the Russian Embassy in Stockholm was once again targeted by vandalism. Paint cans were thrown onto the asphalt near the main entrance of the service building and the residential complex within the embassy's premises. The incident was promptly reported to the Swedish police.
Additionally, the Russian Embassy submitted a formal note to the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, urging it to fulfill its obligations under the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The note emphasized the need to ensure the security and inviolability of the Russian diplomatic mission.
