Over 120 Georgian NGOs to file lawsuit in Constitutional Court over law on foreign agents

As many as 121 Georgian NGOs will file a lawsuit on July 17 in the Constitutional Court over the law on “foreign agents," representative of the Institute For Development of Freedom Of Information (IDFI) Giorgi Davituri said, Report informs referring to Georgian media.
“The challenged law restricts the right of citizens to unite to achieve the common goal of the country - to do good and help people,” he added.
He noted that NGOs are also preparing to file a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights.
