Oman lifts visa requirement for Armenian citizens

Starting in August, 2025, Oman has officially lifted its visa requirement for Armenian citizens, stated Ani Badalyan, Spokesperson for Foreign Ministry of Armenia, Report informs via local media outlets.
“The Government of Oman has welcomed Armenia’s decision to unilaterally exempt Omani citizens from visa requirements and, in response, has decided to lift the visa requirement for Armenian nationals as of August 11,” Badalyan stated.
According to the spokesperson, the visa-free regime—applicable to short-term visits—is expected to contribute to the development of tourism and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
