Number of people affected by floods in Iran reaches 400

At least 400 people were affected by floods in Sistan and Baluchestan province located in the south-east of Iran, Report informs, citing the ISNA agency.

According to the statement of the local branch of the Red Crescent Society of Iran, 15 rescue teams helped the victims, more than 300 people were placed in the tents of the Red Crescent, and the victims were provided with necessary assistance - food parcels, warm clothes, and required items were given to them.

The head of the province of Sistan and Baluchestan said that as a result of heavy rains, many infrastructure objects, including agriculture, were damaged.
