MP from Georgian Dream Party Irakli Khakhubia found dead

MP from the ruling party, Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia, Irakli Khakhubia was found dead in his apartment on Thursday morning, Report informs, citing Georgian media.

A firearm was found at the scene. According to unconfirmed information, the politician committed suicide. Khakhubia was 51 years old.

Forensic experts work in the politician's house. Other details of the case are not yet known.

According to relatives, the MP had health problems after his son died in a car accident.
