Moldova to leave CIS by end of 2024

Moldova will leave the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) by the end of 2024, Doina Gherman, the head of the foreign policy and European integration commission of the Moldovan parliament, Report informs via Sputnik Moldova.
"We recently canceled three agreements in the defense and education sectors. We are almost at the last stage. We aim to complete the process by the end of 2024," she said.
According to the head of the commission, leaving the CIS will not affect the economy of Moldova.
