Moldova intends to ban the operations of airlines from more than 20 countries on its territory, including Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Libya, Nepal, Iran, Tanzania, Afghanistan, and Armenia, Report informs via the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development.

The ministry noted that it has submitted the corresponding draft order for public discussion. Its purpose is to align national legislation with European Union standards.

The discussion will continue until January 9. If the document is adopted, 16 Kyrgyz companies, most of which are cargo carriers, will not be able to use Moldova's airspace and airports, including: Aero Nomad Airlines, Aerostan, Air Company Air Kg, Aircompany Moalem Aviation, etc.
