Modi and Putin discuss India-Russia strategic partnership

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Report informs.
Modi wrote about the conversation on X.
The Prime Minister stated that they had an in-depth discussion and talked about the latest developments in Ukraine.
He also mentioned that they reviewed progress in their bilateral agenda and reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen the Russia–India strategic partnership. Modi added that he was looking forward to welcoming President Putin in India later this year.
