Armenia is hopeful for the swift signing of a peace agreement with Azerbaijan, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during a parliamentary session.
Report informs via Armenia that he sharply criticized opposition lawmakers who oppose the peace initiative with Baku.
"Okay, let’s reject the peace agreement, disagree on various points, and even go as far as declaring Azerbaijan, all our neighbors, the entire Islamic world, and even Oceania as enemies. And then what? So far, we haven’t heard any coherent proposals from you—only patriotic speeches made over dinner tables," he said.
Mirzoyan reiterated his hope that Yerevan and Baku will eventually sign a peace agreement.
