Minor throws grenade into hotel in Türkiye

A minor sustained injury following an incident involving a hand grenade at a local hotel in the Kucukcekmece Yesilova district of Istanbul, Türkiye, Report informs via Sputnik Türkiye.

The incident occurred when the minor, arriving on a motorcycle, hurled a grenade into the hotel premises. The grenade failed to detonate; however, the hotel’s security personnel responded by firing at the assailant, resulting in injuries to the minor.

Officers from the Kucukcekmece Yesilova District Police Department, specifically the Anti-Terrorism Division, promptly arrived at the site. The wounded perpetrator was transported to a medical facility by an ambulance.
