Minister: Georgia is interested in achieving peace in South Caucasus

I think that today's Silk Road Forum demonstrates that Georgia is a friendly place for both Azerbaijan and Armenia, Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili, told Report before the opening of the 4th Tbilisi Silk Road Forum.
“Georgia is in favor of peace in the South Caucasus, which is in the interest of all three countries of the region. We are interested in achieving peace in the South Caucasus. Therefore, we mediate the peace treaty process,” he said.
The state official added that the conclusion of this process with the signing of a peace treaty will bring long-term stability to the region.
