Armenia is facing difficulties with both exports and imports as a result of the escalation in the Middle East, Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan said, Report informs via Armenian media.
"We are experiencing challenges with both imports and exports, including trade with Iran and shipments that pass through it. These are factors largely beyond our control, but we hope the conflict will be resolved and that we'll be able to transport goods through Iran as before," Papoyan said.
He noted that due to the intensifying conflict between Israel and Iran, part of Armenian cargo has been stranded at the port of Bandar Abbas and along Iranian roadways.
