Yerevan's blind hope in the West has failed, Spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said, Report informs.
“It is impossible not to see it. This can also be seen when looking at the current state of peace treaty negotiations. The process is still frozen,” she added.
Zakharova said that France's supply of Bastion armored vehicles to Armenia also shows this: “These vehicles have shown very low effectiveness in real combat conditions in Ukraine.”
According to Zakharova, France sold Armenia something that was illiquid and could not be realized elsewhere.
“It remains unclear how this equipment will protect the sovereignty of the territory of Armenia,” Zakharova said.
