Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko announced that vice-prime ministers will have significantly more influence in the upcoming government.
According to Report, speaking to BELTA, Lukashenko highlighted the major change in the government's structure, stating that the role of the vice-premiers would be elevated. "I want to stress the unique feature of the future government's operations, which I will insist on: the vice-prime ministers will hold much more weight. The Prime Minister in our country is the chair, organizing and leading government meetings, but they will not make unilateral decisions or dominate over other government members, particularly the vice-premiers," he emphasized.
