Russia hopes that direct air communication with Georgia will resume soon, Russia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov said, Report informs via TASS.
"I hope that we will soon be able to resume direct air communication [with Georgia]," he told a press conference on Wednesday.
"I am glad that our people-to-people contacts with Georgia are actively developing, last year Georgia's GDP grew by 10%, largely thanks to tourism and relations with the Russian Federation," the minister noted.
