Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov found it amusing that French President Emmanuel Macron believes he can "protect everyone" with just “three or four nuclear warheads," Report informs via TASS.
"It was quite a funny speech from Macron (which, by the way, also touched on NATO) because he claimed that France would be able to ‘protect’ everyone with its three or four nuclear warheads," Lavrov said in an interview with American bloggers Mario Nawfal, Larry Johnson, and Andrew Napolitano.
The minister also pointed out that Macron is trying to frame the situation as if Russian President Vladimir Putin had no intention of implementing the 2015 Minsk Agreements. "Back then in Minsk, we had 17 hours of nonstop negotiations. The Minsk Agreements were signed. Once they were signed, they were endorsed by the UN Security Council," Lavrov stated.
