The Latvian parliament has adopted in the second and final reading amendments to the “Law on Citizenship” on deprivation of citizenship of those who support Russia's military operations in Ukraine, the press service of the Latvian Seimas says, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.

According to the information, those who support war crimes against another democratic state will be deprived of Latvian citizenship.

The press service of the Seimas said that information about a person who supports the military operations will be provided by the state security agencies. "Complaints on the issue are not accepted."

According to the Latvian State Security Service, from February 24 to early April, 14 criminal cases were launched in connection with support to Russia over the military operations in Ukraine.
