Kyrgyzstan wants to buy medium-class Airbus aircraft, Report informs referring to the Kyrgyz media.
This issue was discussed during the talks between Kyrgyz Ambassador to Paris Sadyk Sher-Niyaz and Airbus Vice President Jacques Garrigue.
The Airbus vice-president announced that he is ready to offer ATR-72 class planes with a capacity of up to 90 people for domestic flights over short distances.
Earlier, President Sadyr Japarov announced that domestic flights between regions would be restored until 2026. Kyrgyzstan has already bought two Airbus helicopters. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the country intended to purchase the Airbus-C295 aircraft.
