"The next air attack on Kyiv is already the third in four days of May. Our city has not faced such intensity of attacks since the beginning of this year," Mykhailo Shamanov, Kyiv City Military Administration spokesman, told Report while disclosing the details of the air attack on the capital last night.
"Tonight, the aggressive enemy again carried out a complex air operation. The alarm in the capital lasted for more than 3.5 hours. According to Serhiy Popko, the head of the Kyiv city military administration, they attacked Kyiv using Shahed-type barrage ammunition and possibly ballistic missiles," Shamanov said.
He added that the final type of used missiles will be determined only after the remains are examined:
"According to preliminary information, all enemy missiles and UAVs were destroyed by our air defense forces in Kyiv. In the Shevchenkivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Podilskyi districts of the capital, about 10 buildings were blown down in different streets as a result of hitting the enemy's aviation objects, and the parked cars (number to be determined) and road traffic were partially damaged as a result of the debris. There is no information about injured citizens, it is reported that they did not cause serious damage to people's lives and health, city buildings."
