Kremlin comments on Erdogan's proposal to mediate between Russia and Ukraine

Russia welcomes the efforts of any country to resolve the Ukraine issue, said Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Report informs, citing TASS.
"The situation in Ukraine is agitated. We observe the maneuvers of NATO and Western European countries there, which lead to tension. Turkey should urge Ukraine to implement the Minsk agreements," Peskov said.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan proposed to hold Moscow-Kyiv talks in Turkey. The Turkish leader invited Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to meet in Turkey to resolve the issue.
