Armenia is committed to advancing a peace agenda and will continue its constructive participation in the peace process, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan said in a joint statement with his Georgian counterpart Mikheil Kavelashvili in Yerevan.

According to Report, which cites Armenian media, Khachaturyan recalled that the text of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been agreed upon and is ready for signing. He expressed hope that the Armenian side will be able to establish a comprehensive peace with Azerbaijan.

"Armenia highly values Georgia's efforts aimed at strengthening stability and security in the South Caucasus, as well as its support for the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We welcome Georgia's initiatives to create trilateral cooperation platforms and appreciate its role in exploring avenues for cooperation and implementing joint economic projects," he said.
