Kazakhstan, Morocco ink deal on extradition of criminals

Kazakhstan and Morocco have signed an interstate agreement on the extradition of criminals, as well as legal assistance in criminal cases and the transfer of convicted persons, according to the General Prosecutor's Office, Report informs via Kazakh media.
The document was signed during the visit of Kazakhstan's Prosecutor General Berik Assylov to Morocco.
During the visit, he discussed bilateral cooperation in international security and crime-fighting with his Moroccan counterpart Abdellatif Ouahbi.
The statement notes that concluding such agreements with Morocco is of great importance for Kazakhstan, since due to its geographical location, this country connects Africa with Europe through the Strait of Gibraltar.
