Kazakh CEC registers Tokayev as presidential candidate

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kazakhstan has registered Kassym-Jomart Tokayev as a presidential candidate, Report informs referring to the Kazakh media.
“The certificate of the presidential candidate was handed over to Tokayev’s confidant - speaker of the parliament and head of the Amanat party Yerlan Koshanov,” the CEC said in a statement.
The Central Election Commission has completed the procedure for accepting documents of candidates for the early presidential elections in the country, which will be held on November 20. Documents were submitted by 12 people.
