Kashagan operator fined $6.6M in Kazakhstan

The Kashagan operator, North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC), has been fined 3.6 billion tenge ($6.6 million) for violating environmental legislation, Report informs.
According to Kazakhstani media, the company was found to have burned gas above permitted levels without an environmental permit.
