Journalist of Armenian origin from France banned from entering Armenia

The Armenian authorities have banned Leo Nikolyan, a journalist of Armenian origin from France, from entering the country. He went on a hunger strike right at Zvartnots airport, Report informs referring to News.am.
“I will not leave Armenia, I am going on a hunger strike right here, at the passport inspection department of Zvartnots airport. Without presenting a decision, without justification, I was banned from entering my homeland,” Nikolyan noted in his video message.
He also said that in 1991-1994 he lived in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan and was wounded.
