Iranian Foreign Ministry protests to Danish ambassador in Tehran over desecration of Koran

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has summoned the Danish ambassador to Tehran to protest against the acts of desecration of the Koran, Report informs via Iranian media.

"This morning, in protest against the repeated desecration of the Holy Koran, the Danish ambassador in Tehran was summoned by the chief of the Foreign Ministry department for Western Europe ... Iran's strong protest was expressed to the Danish ambassador against the continuation of these actions," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said.

Kanaani stressed that Iran considers the desecration of the Koran "a useless Israeli project", however, according to him, "this fact does not reduce the responsibility of the countries where these crimes took place."
