Iranian Foreign Minister visiting Qatar

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is visiting Doha, Qatar, to discuss the situation in Syria, Report informs via Tasnim News Agency.

Along with Abbas Araghchi, Turkish and Russian foreign ministers Hakan Fidan and Sergey Lavrov, respectively, will also attend the Doha Forum.

Earlier, the Iranian Foreign Minister visited Iraq. During his visit to Baghdad, Araghchi stated that Iran would support Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria in all spheres.

Previously, Türkiye, Russia, and Iran held meetings in Astana, Kazakhstan, regarding the Syrian issue and reached an agreement to coordinate their activities. The initiative has been dubbed the Astana format.
