Iran unveils new drone within Sacred Defense Week

A new reconnaissance drone is presented in Iran as part of the Sacred Defense Week. The combat UAV Shahab has a ceiling height of more than 3,000 meters, can stay in the air for up to 8 hours non-stop and conduct missions in the range of 200 km, Report informs via Tasnim news agency.
The Week of Sacred Defense began on September 22 and is timed to coincide with the anniversary of the Iran-Iraq armed conflict that broke out in 1980. Traditionally, these days, events are held in Iran to demonstrate the military potential of the country. In addition, army representatives report on the implementation of defense projects.
Earlier, the Iranian side reported that it had achieved 100% self-sufficiency in supplying its Air Force with UAVs.
