Iran has the technical capabilities to produce a nuclear bomb, but there is no decision by the country's leadership on this issue, Kamal Kharazi, head of Iran's Strategic Council for Foreign Relations, said on Sunday, as quoted by Report.
"It's no secret that we (Iran) have the technical capabilities to produce a nuclear bomb, but there is no decision (of the country's leadership) on this matter," Kharazi said, quoted by the Qatari Al-Jazeera TV channel.
He noted that within a few days Iran was able to boost uranium enrichment from 20% to 60%, and "can easily increase this level to 90%."
