Iran's Permanent Mission to the UN has sent a letter to the organization's Security Council, requesting an emergency meeting to respond to Israel's attack on Iran, Report informs via Tasnim.
The letter strongly condemned Israel’s attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities and high-ranking officials with US support, calling for an emergency meeting of the Security Council and decisive action by the international organization in response to these moves.
The letter also emphasized that Israel, in an illegal and premeditated act, carried out a series of coordinated military attacks against Iran's nuclear facilities and civilian infrastructure:
"These actions are considered a clear violation of the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law, and their dangerous consequences seriously threaten regional and international peace and security."
