Iran reports attempt to carry out terror attack in country’s southeast

One of the terrorists attempting to carry out a terror attack in the Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan has been killed in a premature explosion, according to the prosecutor of Zahedan (the administrative center of the region) Mehdi Shamsabadi, Report informs referring to TASS.

“Two terrorists entered the country with the aim of blowing up a patrol car near a roadside checkpoint in the Mohammedan region, but one of them died in the process of planting an explosive device,” he noted.

He added that orders have already been received to arrest the second criminal, who managed to escape. Shamsabadi did not provide information about the other victims.
