On April 2, the United States, through an intermediary, proposed a two-day ceasefire to Iran, but Tehran responded by intensifying its attacks.
According to Report, the Fars news agency cited a source saying the US initiative came after "serious problems arose for US armed forces due to a misjudgment of the Islamic Republic of Iran's military capabilities."
