According to the Mizan News Agency affiliated with the Iranian Judiciary, the decision was announced in the lawsuit filed in Tehran Civil Court by the families of those who lost their lives in the attacks carried out by the terrorist organization DAESH in Iran in 2017, Report informs.

According to the lawsuit, nine US institutions and individuals, including former US presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, are accused of having a fundamental role in the organization and management of terrorist groups.

The US government, the institutions and officials are to pay $9,950,000 in compensation for pecuniary damages, $104 million for moral damages and $199 million for punitive damages.

On June 7, 2017, 12 people were killed and 43 people were injured in the armed and bomb attacks on the Parliament and the tomb of the revolutionary leader Ayatollah Khomeini in Iran. The terrorist organization claimed responsibility for the attack.
