IDF: Israeli Air Force continues intercepting drones launched from Iran toward Israel

The Israeli Air Force continues its operation to intercept unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) launched from Iran toward the State of Israel.

Report informs, citing the statement of the Israeli Defense Forces, that on the night of June 13, Israel conducted Operation Rising Lion against Iran, with Israeli Air Force strikes targeting military and nuclear facilities in Iran. The strikes resulted in the deaths of the Iranian Chief of Staff, the head of the IRGC, several other commanders, and nuclear scientists. Civilian casualties were also reported in Iran.

An IDF spokesperson said the operation to eliminate Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities will take several days. Meanwhile, the Iranian General Staff declared no limitations on retaliatory strikes against Israel.
