Head of Azerbaijani diaspora in Russia's Yekaterinburg declared wanted

The head of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Yekaterinburg, Shahin Shikhlinski, has been put on the wanted list, Report informs with reference to Russian media.

Shahin Shikhlinski is wanted in connection with a case of allegedly using violence against a government official, in which his son Mutvali Shikhlinski is accused.

Earlier, the Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg arrested Shahin Shikhlinski's son for a period of two months.

The reason was a situation that occurred on July 1 near Baku Plaza in Yekaterinburg. At that time, FSB officers attacked the head of the diaspora Shahin Shikhlinski in a car driven by his son. Mutvali Shikhlinski himself stated in court that he did not see the security officer who was to his right and regrets what happened.
