Hakan Fidan to visit Russia

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will visit Russia, according to the Turkish MFA, Report informs.
The visit will take place on May 26-27 at the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
During the trip, Fidan will be received by Russian President Vladimir Putin and will hold meetings with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
It is planned to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, recent developments in the region, review and assess the current situation in key areas of bilateral cooperation such as trade, energy and tourism, Türkiye's role in ensuring a just and lasting peace in the Russia-Ukraine war, and exchange views on regional and international issues, including Syria, Gaza and the South Caucasus.
