Hakan Fidan: Stability in Syria is important for whole world

Stability in Syria is important for the whole world, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a press conference on Syria in Jordan, Report informs.

Fidan noted that Syria's territorial integrity and sovereignty must be protected.

"We must not allow terrorists to take advantage of the transition period. We must learn from past mistakes. The upcoming period may not be easy. But we, as Türkiye, will support Syria," said the minister.

Fidan stressed that the Syrian people deserve to live in safety and be free.

The minister also stated that Türkiye will continue its fight against terrorists in Syria.
