Hakan Fidan on Türkiye's EU membership: Window of opportunity is still open

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan once again expressed his position regarding EU membership after being re-elected as the president, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a press conference with Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mariya Gabriel, Report informs.

He said that discussions between relevant institutions in this direction are ongoing: "As our President said, the window of opportunity regarding Türkiye's EU membership is still open. European politicians should appreciate this."
