Grigoryan, Kasprzyk mull restarting Yeraskh-Julfa-Meghri-Horadiz road

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan has met with Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, Report informs referring to Sputnik-Armenia.

During the meeting, the situation in the region and the process of unblocking communications were discussed.

The parties touched, in particular, on the restoration and organization of the Yeraskh-Julfa-Meghri-Horadiz communication.

A meeting of the trilateral working group on unblocking communications in the region, co-chaired by the deputy prime ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia Shahin Mustafayev, Alexei Overchuk and Mher Grigoryan, was held on June 2 in Moscow.

After the meeting of the working group, it was stated that significant progress had been made in agreeing on the modalities for unblocking transport communications between Armenia and Azerbaijan, in particular, this concerns the restoration and organization of the railway connection along the Yeraskh-Julfa-Meghri-Horadiz route.
